Call for Papers
Papers from industry and academia are invited
The Centenary World Conference forms part of the Centenary Celebrations of The Textile Institute – TI 100 and will provide an excellent platform for discussion and networking.
The guiding theme for the conference will be ‘creating a global vision for textiles, clothing and footwear’.
Areas to be highlighted include the following:

- Education and Training
- Retail
- Innovative Materials
- Smart Materials and Wearable Technology
- Sustainability
- Manufacturing Processes
- Quality Control, Testing and Evaluation, and Performance
- Technical Textiles
- Research and Development
- Supply Chain Management
- Marketing and Management
- Future Trends
Papers on relevant topics outside the above areas will also be considered.
Submission of Abstracts for Oral and Poster Presentations
Titles for proposed papers, with a 200 word abstract / synopsis, should be submitted no later than 6 April 2010. Submissions received after this date will not be given primary consideration. Abstracts should be submitted electronically in MS word format and sent by email to the conference organisers: papers@tiworldconference.org
Papers are accepted from the author(s) on the basis of attending the conference at the appropriate delegate rate.
