Bridging Research, Innovation and Enterprise
The developments of textile materials, equipment and processes have extensively impacted the textile industry worldwide. The textile industry has expanded into non-conventional markets such as technical textiles and composites with value-added elements. While conventional textiles present consistent growth in emerging economies, textiles are a prime candidate for medical, sports, aerospace, automotive and geotextiles applications. With these changes, the Textile Institute World Conference 2012 will specifically focus on developing methodology for connecting research and innovation with emphasis on establishing enterprising spirits among its members and the textile community in general.
We would like to invite local and international participants to attend the conference as presenters and/or delegates. Authors are welcome to present their original work in the following research tracks but not limited to:
